CONTRACT RIDER


TRANSPORTATION

If ARTIST gives advance notice to PURCHASER that the ARTIST is arriving by air,
PURCHASER shall, at his sole cost and expense, provide GROUND TRANSPORTATION
for Artist's entourage of (8) people, plus luggage and instruments between airport, hotel, concert venue and return to airport upon departure. ARTIST will need one 10 seat passenger van and separate cargo van for luggage (estimated to be 8 suitcases, 4 rack cases, and two guitars). Total approximate weight for luggage is 600 kgs (1200 Ibs).


ACCOMMODATIONS

If PURCHASER is providing HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS, a minimum of (8) single rooms and one double room. The accommodations shall be made at a five-star four star hotel. These rooms must be noise free.


HOSPITALITY

PURCHASER shall provide (2) comfortable and private dressing room adequate for use by (7) people. Nine(9) towels shall be provided for ARTIST'S use in the dressing rooms


In the dressing rooms, PURCHASER shall provide refreshments in quantities sufficient for (8) persons.

AT LOAD-IN THROUGH PERFORMANCE:
Assorted fruit juices
20 liters of mineral water (Non-carbonated)
5 liters of mineral water (carbonated)
1 case of iced soft drinks (mix of diet and regular)

Fresh brewed hot coffee plus a selection of dark & herbal teas
Honey, sugar, Equal, lemon and real cream
One dozen (12) clean hand towels

Food sufficient for (7) people to include the following:
Fresh fruit (apples, oranges, grapes, strawberries, bananas, etc.)
Whole grain crackers and breads.

AT COMPLETION OF ARTIST'S SCHEDULED SOUND CHECK:
Hot meal for (8) people that can either consist of " house food" if a rest is on the premises, a catered meal, or recommended local restaurant.
Dinner arrangements will be made between PURCHASER and ARTIST'S Tour Manager well in advance of the date.

TECHNICAL RIDER

1. STAGE: The stage should be a minimum of 40 wide x 30' deep.
Two (2) 4' x 8' stage risers carpeted and with black skirting neatly attached to three sides.

2. BACKLINE: PURCHASER shall provide the following equipment:
One (1) Roland Stereo Chorus amp
One (1) Mesa Boogie Mark III guitar amp.
One (1) Acoustic Grand Piano in excellent playing condition. - Must be
(Preference: Steinway or 7' Concert Grand.
Alternate Choice: Yamaha Grand - BLACK ONLY).
One (1) Pearl professional drum kit, individual pieces to be determined.
One SWR SM-900 amp and 2 SWR Goliath III cabinets or One Eden WT-800 amp and 2Eden D410
XLT or D410 XST cabinets
Backline equipment should be set up and on stage a minimum of two (2) hours beforeARTIST'S sound check.

THE TOUR MANAGER MUST APPROVE ANY SUBSTITUTIONS.


FRONT OF HOUSE SYSTEM:

1. AMPLIFICATION & SPEAKER SYSTEM
a.. High quality professional sound reinforcement system cable of provided undistorted sound of least 120db, 20-16 000khz with less 1% t
b. Minimum 3-way tri-amped speaker system. (EAW, JBL, TMS, Meyer, Renku)
c. Crossovers available at FOH Mix position (if not a processed system).
d. System should be configured in stereo within (20 Professional 1/3 Octave
e. The mains and an additional 1/3 Octave EQ for any clusters or balcony
f. (BASS, Klark, tc Electronics etc.)

2. MIXING CONSOLE
(Console location must be located at mid house and not in a booth or under
a. 32 Input, 8 sub-master professional console with channel and-mast
b. 4 band sweepable EQ for each channel, 48-volt phantom power and a minimum
6 auxiliary sends. Preferences: Midas XL3, Yamha PM 4000, Crest, Soundcraft Venue or bet


3. PROCESSING
a. (10) Twelve channels of noise Gates for insert. (BSS, Klark, etc.)
b. (10) Ten channels insert compression (BSS, Klark, etc.)
c. (3) Three professional stereo digital reverbs.
d. One stereo digital delay
e. (1) Compact disc player.
f. (1) Cassette recorder/player

4. COMMUNICATIONS
a. Headset or handheld communication system with stations at FOH & MON


5. MONITOR SYSTEM:

1. (1) One 24 channel mix console with 4 band sweepable EQ, capable of (8) eig
discreet monitor mixes.
Preferences: Ramsa WS840, Soundcraft SC600B or Better, Crest, etc.

2. (8) 1/3 Octave EQs. One for each monitor mix. (BSS, Klark, White, etc.)
3. High quality bi-amped monitor wedges. (15"x2" or 15"x1") Prefer Meyer, Martain, EAW, JBL or equivalent.
4. (1) High quality bi-amped drum box monitors
5. (6) compressors


MICROPHONES, ETC:

MICROPHONES to include:
(1) 0ne Beyer M88, AKG d112 or Sure SM91
(5) Five AKG 408's
(6) Six Sure SM57 (Sennhiser MD 421s are a possible substitution for some
(8) Eight high quality condensers (AKG 451,414, or equivalent) 2 for the pa
(1) One MD421 or EV RE20
(3) Three Shure SM58's
(8) Eight direct boxes: (BSS, Countryman)
(20) Twenty Boomstands: 12 Tall and short & misc.


LIGHTING:

1. ARTIST will require a professional lighting console with programmable memory, 2
spotlights with operators and one lighting direct with full knowledge of local lighting system.
Lighting system must also include a communication system SEPARATE FROM THE SOUND SYSTEM COM CHANNEL between spot operators, console and house lights operator.
PURCHASER will make arrangements for all lights not specifically required by local safety ordinances to be turned off during performance.

ELECTRICAL:

1. Two (2) separate services are required consisting of now (1) 400 amp three ph
Service for lighting, one (1) 200 amp single phase for sound.
